When it comes to electric SUV's from BMW, the most popular is undoubtedly the iX. But its smaller sibling, the iX3 is equally as capable. It has a range of over 430km's on paper, but we all know that it is almost impossible to reach that range in the real world.
So we tried to put it to the test with a drive from Damansara to Penang, a distance of about 350km. Now that should be manageable, but lets not forget that there are mountain ranges in between and managing a highway speed of between 110kmh to 120kmh is going to drain the battery quickly.
