Rare Case in Bangladesh-Percutaneous Transhepatic Cholangiography (PTC).

Procedure : PTC with External Billiary Drainage

Indication: Obstructive jaundice

Medication: Inj.Midazolam-1mg+Propofol-20mg+Hysomide-2ampl/V slowly

PTBD NOTE

FINDINGS:

Under all aseptic precaution one of the larger branches of the right hepatic duct is approached through the right 8th intercostal space. PTC is done under local anaesthesia. The CBD and intrahepatic billiary tree are hugely dilated. 8Fr PTBD tube is placed into the CHD through the right hepatic duct with establishment of free flow of bile The tube is connected with collection bag
