As we begin 2021 and look to new opportunities and possibilities across the African continent, Tibor Nagy, Assistant Secretary for the Bureau of African Affairs, shared his perspectives on Sub-Saharan Africa’s future and the critical role YALI will play in it.

Assistant Secretary Nagy highlighted the United States policy priorities in Africa, including harnessing the potential of Africa’s tremendous youth population and promoting stronger trade and business ties between Africa and America, to the benefit of the people of both sides of the Atlantic. The YALI Network and YALI Alumni will be key to driving this growth and prosperity. Assistant Secretary Nagy answered questions from YALI Alumni and Network members.
