This Honey Fingers workshop for the IKEA Virtual Greenhouse discusses which four flowers to grow at home to nourish bees. Growing bee-friendly plants is important, not only to help protect the honeybees, but because a wide range of wildlife benefits from pollination. The film shows how growing hardy rosemary provides nectar for bees; how planting sunflowers in the garden provides pollen that feeds bees; which local plants make good bee habitats and the benefits of ‘buzz pollinating’ tomatoes.
