Hi friends! This one is for all my #beginnercooks out there. Today I'm teaching you how to cook homemade gravy from scratch! No packets needed here, just a few simple ingredients that will give you the best tasting gravy you never thought you could make. I've come to realize that when I say "simple," there are a lot of people that will disagree because they are not comfortable in the kitchen or just don't like kitchen, so I've decided to dial it all the way back and get back to basics with a learn how to cook series. Gravy Ingredients

3 tbsp all purpose flour
3 tbsp butter
salt/pepper
32 oz Beef broth (will not use all)

Gravy Instructions

Melt the butter over medium heat, then add the flour. Whisk and cook for at least 1 minute. I like to cook it about 2 minutes before adding my liquid. Slowly begin to stir the beef broth into the skillet and make sure you constantly whisk. You will end up using about 3 cups of broth but add it until you have reached the desired consistency you're going for. Salt and pepper your gravy by tasting.
