There are several ways to become a child psychiatrist in the UK and the most common path-way is.

Finishing core psychiatry training, passing MRCPsych exam and securing ST training in CAMHS.

Limited number of run through CAMHS posts are also available.

CESR pathway can also be used to become child psychiatrist.
