For under $/£100 I created this fully brain controlled robotic hand! It uses an electromyography sensor, current sensing, Arduino and 3D printing amongst other things. I did this while studying in my Uni/College!
My next video will be a robotic arm! That presented some unique challenges for me, but ill have it posted this time next month! See you soon (hopefully)
It was great to be able to use my half finished engineering degree know-how to create this, one day I hope to improve this considerably, with PCB etc, but we will see!
In total, the hand managed to grip items like bananas, cucumbers, waffle cones, apples, smaller water bottles. I struggled to grip large circular objects, as they were too awkward.
