This is a short movie I made while playing around with soap bubbles on a weekend.
Believe it or not, what you see on the screen is the 'life cycle' of a regular soap bubble; and the 'turbulence' is caused because I was blowing on it, to create a vivid drama.
I am absolutely amazed at how many colours a soap bubble can produce. It took me some effort to get these details on video, but it was absolutely worth it.
.
Gear:
Nikon D5500 + Tokina 100mm Macro (mounted on a tripod)
Table lamp (for continuous illumination)
Makeshift homemade softbox (the diffusing material was a simple sheet of drawing paper)
.
A huge shoutout to my brother Varad, who tirelessly held the table lamp above the softbox while I was handling the camera and blowing the bubbles.
