How to Fix "Location is not available, I/O device error".

When i tried to open my YouTube Channel thumbnails folder.

All of sudden I found that the folder was corrupted

I got this error message and i thought it would make a good video guide for you guys who facing similar problem.

Your data will not be visible or accessible until you repair this windows issue.

Open command prompt and run as administrator.

Type command below with your drive letter

chkdsk /f c:

in my case it is "C" drive i have problem with.

Window will do correcting errors in next reboot. Press Key "Y" to fix any issues

Now restart your computer.

windows restarting....

Now windows do CHKDSK process to fix any corrupt registry hives

It checks hard disk for errors and recovers readable information.

process may take 20-30mins depand on size of your drive.

Let the CHKDSK process finish and now check ur corrupted files or folders.
