(21 Nov 2017) INTERNATIONAL EMMY NOMINEES JULIO ANDRADE, ZANJOE MARUDO AND MORE TALK ON RED CARPET
An editor on the documentary series "EXODUS: Our Journey to Europe" said attending Monday's (20 NOV. 2017) International Emmy Awards was "totally bonkers."
"We weren't really expecting it like this I think," said Simon Sykes of walking a red carpet with the director, James Bluemel, and Will Anderson, the Executive Producer said, "I thought we'd just be wondering in and that would be it. It's crazy."
The co-creators of the Norwegian detective series "Mammon" said they were in celebration mode.
"We have been partying like winners until now," said Gjermund Stenberg Eriksen, who is also the head writer.
"Celebrating, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday and Sunday and today and tomorrow and we will stay until Thursday," said Vegard Stenberg Eriksen, who is also a producer on the show.
Best actor nominee, Zanjoe Marudo, of the Philippines said when he learned of his nomination, "I jumped and I screamed so I can't believe it. I didn't believe that it's real so I need to confirm with my boss and it's so surreal."
The International Emmy Awards are presented annually by the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
