Hello ladies and gents! Welcome to our 2012-2017 Hyundai Veloster rear bumper accessories or lower valance and tail light replacement. Do not fret, do not worry, if you have taken off the bumper already from our previous video, this is easy-peasy :). This is probably one of the easiest bumpers to work on in terms of the hardware it has on it. Very minimal hardware and there is not much difficulty.
TOOLS NEEDED:
Flat-head screwdriver and a Philips screwdriver.
INSTRUCTIONS:
We started by removing the screws on the lower valance. You will notice the license plate lights and electrical cords but that should have been disconnected when removing the bumper. Leave the license plate lights alone, unless you are replacing the lower valance.
We then removed the reflectors with ease. This goes without saying but doesn't lose the screws. We then circled back to remove the lower valance. I know, it's super easy. Now you just have to work in reverse and install the three items.
The installation is pretty much self-explanatory. Screw the reflectors to each corresponding side. Pro-tip; they won't line up if you place them on the wrong side, hah! You may have some trouble with the lower valance. As long as you line up the tabs into the slots as we did, you'll be fine. Flip the bumper around and secure it with one hand underneath, with the other just hammer fist the valance until you hear it *snap* in.
That's it folks, easy-peas. We knew you could do it! :)
