In this video, I make Copper (II) Acetate.
Warning: Hydrogen is produced. Do this outside or in a fumehood.
First, measure out 30 mL of vinegar in a beaker. Then add 30 mL of 3% Hydrogen Peroxide. Leave this undisturbed until it stops bubbling. Then boil the solution down until crystals start to form. Let the solution cool down, then filter. Let the crystals dry, then store however wanted.
The overall reaction is Cu + 2C2H4O2 ⇒ Cu(CH3COO)2 + H2 with a catalyst of H2O2
