Thai style cashew chicken or Gai Pad Med Mamuang is an easy , delicious recipe that is so flavorful.
Ingredients :
For the chicken
500 grams chicken breast, cut into bite sized pieces
2 tbsp. corn flour or all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. black pepper
Cooking oil (I used sunflower oil for frying)
For the vegetable ingredients
1 tbsp. garlic, minced
1 medium size yellow onions, diced
1 medium size red bell pepper, diced
1 medium size green bell pepper, diced
1 medium size yellow bell pepper, diced
⅓ cup dry Thai birds eye red chilies, deep fried
½ cup raw cashew nuts
⅓ cup spring onions, cut 2.5 cm pieces
For the seasoning sauce:
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. oyster sauce
1tsp. fish sauce
2 - 3 tbsp. water
1 tsp. sugar ( add more according to your taste )
