The prototype mechanics are fabricated, the Arduino UNO was flashed with GRBL code, stepper drivers setup, and test G-Code sent to the UNO with Universal G-Code sender. The Stepper drivers needed to be configured for sixteenth step because full steps introduced too much vibration. Simple G-Code is sent to verify expected response.
The rails were fabricated from L stock from the local hardware store, timing belts, pulleys, idlers, steppers bought on-line. The trolley mechanism was made from thin plywood and cut with a Shapeoko CNC.
