Just like many tropical plants, Tulsi can’t stand frost and other winter related conditions.
For it to continue staying fresh, healthy and fragrant it’s wise to shift it under shade!
🪴It require amount of sunlight therefore a window or balcony facing west/south will be a better choice.
So if your tulsi is not keeping well during winters it’s high time to do this favour to her 🙏
🪴Keep harvesting leaves through snipping action so that new branches develops to make it look bushier !
🪴Fertilise using organic fertiliser during growth period. It does not require any additional nutrient during winters.
🪴Water when soil dries from top few inches.
🪴A well draining soil mix moderately rich in organic matter is recommended
Just like many tropical plants Tulsi plant too like high humidity. The growth spurt happened during monsoon will not be seen during other time of the year.
