DIY Witch's Cottage Halloween Decor | Making a Witch House Out of Cardboard | I love the trend of taking dollhouses and turning them into a haunted mansion or witches hut, the perfect bit of Halloween Decor. But I don't have a dollhouse and I didn't really want to buy one so I decided to make my own Halloween witch house from trash, or rather make a witch's cottage out of materials I already had at home and recycling cardboard I had from packages, cereal boxes and the like.

Using cardboard, cheap paint, popsicle sticks, and a few other items this was a super fun Halloween craft and DIY. I intentionally wanted to make this house using things I already own and most people might have around their home or things that could be bought for really cheap at the dollar store or elsewhere. Something doesn't have to be expensive to be beautiful and I honestly felt that making this house from scratch and seeing it through all the decor stages was super fun.

I wanted this witch's cottage to have an old, worn, whimsical feel. Mossy and overgrown with a little pumpkin patch and graveyard. I take you step by step, give you tips and tricks and show you how to make everything from scratch including polymer pumpkins, how to paint our dollhouse, Tudor dollhouse windows, an eerie decrepit fence, faux stucco for our Tudor home, and much more.
