Know the signs of a stroke. Use the term BE FAST to help you remember.
BE FAST
Balance: Is there a sudden loss of balance?
Eyes: Is there sudden vision trouble?
Face: Is their face drooping?
Arms: Does one arm drift down?
Speech: Is their speech slurred or strange?
Time: If you observe any of these signs, call 911 and get to the hospital immediately.
