The United Nations backed African Union force in Somalia has been bolstered by a further 4-thousand troops and will soon launch a military offensive against Islamist militants Al-shabab. But the terrorist group seems undeterred by UN and AU efforts, raising the question of whether a purely military solution is enough to win the fight against Al-shabab.
