A tornado touched down in Crystal River Sunday evening, damaging two fishing huts and several other structures according to the Citrus County Sheriff's Office.
It is believed the tornado formed after a waterspout nearby moved onshore. Pictures from Citrus County show the waterspout around 6 p.m. Sunday evening.
The Florida Division of Emergency Management and the Citrus County Sheriff's office shared pictures showing significant damage in the area.
