Peter Harris has built a great gig at the Bayou Bar in New Orleans. Starting with occasional appearances in 2019, he now has a four-night a week residency where he uses different musicians every night. This informal video captures one of those nights with one of the bands Harris organized for this informal intimate setting. This was right after New Orleans celebrated New Year’s, the Sugar Bowl, and right at the start of the JEN (Jazz Educators Network) conference. With all those people in town, the energy is strong in this video.
