If you've seen someone resembling Kim Jong Un at the 2024 Olympics in Paris, it's actually an Australian music producer known as Howard X. He made a dramatic entrance to cheer on North Korea’s Pang Chol-mi during her women's boxing semi-final against China’s Chang Yuan. Howard, who is famous for impersonating the North Korean leader, also waved North Korea's flag and displayed a Winnie the Pooh teddy bear, a character banned in China due to comparisons with Chinese leader Xi Jinping. His antics were documented on X, continuing his tradition of mocking North Korean officials, which previously angered them at the PyeongChang Winter Games. Despite his humorous stunts, Pang lost her match to Chang, and Howard was also seen at other events, including a table tennis match and taking a photo with a Vladimir Putin look-alike in front of Notre Dame.
