Follow these steps to make the proper south Indian filter coffee. This recipe will make filter coffee for 2 people.


Ingredients

3 tbsp Coffee powder
Sugar
Milk

Method

Clean the filter pores with hot water and make sure all the water has drained.
Now add 1 tsp of sugar into the filter.
Then add 3 tbsp of coffee powder and tamper in on top using a spoon to flatten the powder.
Now add boiling hot water, the same amount of water as the coffee powder.
Wait for 5 minutes and your decoction will be ready.
Now boil the milk & in a coffee tumbler add sugar to your taste and then fill half of the tumbler with milk.
Now add the decoction till the coffee turns to your favorite dark, but remember more dark coffee will be bitter.
Using the saucer, mix everything well so that foam forms on the top.
Make sure not to mix it multiple times as it will cool the coffee, pure filter coffee needs to be enjoyed hot.
