Every year my mom makes Bánh tét which is a Vietnamese glutinous rice cake served during Lunar New Year (Tét).

Here we showcase the many steps from preparation of the ingredients and assembling the bánh tét ensuring enough time for cooking and tasting.

Bánh tét chuối is a variety featuring ripe bananas which you will see as the bright red filling and is sweet in taste compared to the savory mung bean and pork filling.
