The bodies of two French journalists believed murdered by militants in northern Mali have been flown to the capital Bamako pending repatriation to France.
Their deaths have been described as "cold blooded assassinations" by France's foreign minister who has vowed to track down their killers.
The two were working for Radio France Internationale (RFI) Claude Verlon aged 58 and Ghislaine Dupont who was 51 were abducted after interviewing a member of the MNLA Tuareg separatist group.
Their bodies were found by a French patrol 12 kilometres outside Kidal, the birthplace of a Tuareg uprising which plunged Mali into chaos last year.
