Doe see Doe was La Femme's 3rd appearance on Countdown. They were supposed to play "Something Else", which was to be the second single from the yet to be released album, however the ABC freaked out at the words 'I wanna be, I wanna be out of my head' and asked the band to perform "Doe See Doe". When the band arrived at the ABC studio, they had decided the lyrics 'all american sweethearts have the biggest breasts in the country' & suggested they sing 'live' & substitute that line with 'all american sweethearts invest in the country." The band sang the original line twice & were told if they got it wrong again they would be off the show, so they played ball".
