Pro-Palestine protesters have scaled the roof of Parliament House in Canberra, throwing the last sitting day before winter break into chaos.
Vision shows at least three protesters on the roof of Parliament House, unfurling banners and chanting pro-Palestine and anti-Labor messages.
The group distributed material via paper airplanes, explaining that they were protesting Australia "relentlessly [continuing] to enable and commit war crimes as an ally" of the United States.
"We use the occasion of the fourth of July to call for true independence from the USA and an end to the enabling of war crimes," the unidentified group's statement read.
