1. Clean balls
2. Try small leca or DIY pon for thinner root systems.
3. Roots are soil-free
4.Keep roots warm

*You can also add a granular fertilizer to the mix. Personally I have only been flushing my pon (no reservoir). I will water once substrate becomes dry with my nutrient water (the same one I use for leca). Currently I have been experimenting with this mix on my succulents and hoya's.
