The film is based on a popular manga by Daisuke IGARASHI. We farm cook, eat, to live. The critically acclaimed story portrays a heroine re-evaluating her lifestyle by leading a simple life where everything is interconnected. In order to capture the beauty and transition of the seasons, the film was shot over an entire year in Oshu City, Iwate Prefecture, and is comprised of four parts : Summer, Autumn, Winter and Spring. Under the food presentation by the “eatrip” team led by a popular food coordinator Yuri NOMURA, the dished prepared in the film were recreated from the original work, using ingredients from local fields and mountains. The simple, yet inventive dishes are sure to make you hungry!
