1. **Importing Pictures:**
- Select the pictures bring them into the timeline.

2. **Adjusting Image Duration:**
- By default, each image has a duration of around 5 seconds, which may be too long.
- To adjust this, go to the menu and select "Settings."
- Under the "Edit" section, find "Image Duration."
- Change the duration to your desired length.
- Additionally, you can choose to set the duration based on frames by selecting "Frame" from the dropdown menu and adjusting the frame count. For example, if your frame rate is 60 FPS, setting it to 30 frames will make each image last half a second.

3. **Bringing Images to the Timeline:**
- Once you've adjusted the image duration, select all the images and bring them into the timeline.
