The Mayor of JB Marks Local Municipality in Potchefstroom in North West, Kgotso Khumalo and the Director for Sports, Arts and Culture Cyril Hendry appeared briefly at Potchefstroom Magistrate's Court. This follows their arrest by the Hawks this morning. They are facing charges of fraud and theft amounting to R5 million.
