This video explains the steps to take in performing an Air Brake test. It's vitally important to know that your service brakes and the park brake works. Also important is to ensure that the low air warning system works prior to driving the truck. On the CDL test this is the first vehicle inspection you'll perform and you must score a 100% accurate on this test. If you fail to do any part of this test and you don't go back to correct the mistake then it's an automatic fail.
