Here's a wonderful Christmas song from the 1990 movie Home Alone. Composed by John Williams, this tune makes the rounds every Christmas. It's lovely.
Let me tell you what I've done with this one. Being as I have the Yamaha NU1X AvantGrand Hybrid, I start out using the very Christmassy sound of Celesta, which is sound #11 on the NU1X. I then switch to sound #15 which is piano and strings. You can see that I'm holding the notes on so the strings continue to sound after striking the note. For the ending, I come back to the celesta. This is in the key of D Major and it builds into a huge crescendo as we move it into B Major. I didn't use any sheet music and I tried as much as I could to get the orchestral parts in when needed, but I only have two hands. I think it sounds just right. Hope you like it.
