Our best Disney surprise ideas ⬇️
1️⃣ Fill a box with inflated Disney balloons (as seen above). Balloons and a card saying “we’re going to Disney” will do the trick, but feel free to make it your own and add other Disney goodies inside.
2️⃣ Create a Disney themed scavenger hunt with the final clue leading them to your Disney vacation announcement. Make it extra fun by having each clue an item they can use on the trip like autograph books, Disney pins, hat, etc.
3️⃣ Write or print a letter inviting them to Disney World from their favorite character. Preferably a character they can actually meet during the trip!
4️⃣ Print a pretend airplane or Disney ticket. You can find several free templates on Pinterest. We have a few of our faves saved if you visit our Pinterest board.
5️⃣ The ultimate but oh so hard to pull off surprise is waiting until the day you leave to tell them! Or if you’re really great at secrets, not telling them the destination at all and waiting until they see with their own eyes. Greet them with sealed lips and packed luggage.
At @momsgo2disney we specialize in planning personalized magical vacations for every family. We’re with you from the earliest trip discussions all the way until you arrive back home from travel. And yes- we can even help you figure out the best way to share the exciting vacation news with your family.
