今日は、結構早口で話しました。みなさんどれくらい聞き取れましたか？
そしてみなさん、風邪をひいたとき、何をしますか？

And when you catch a cold, what do you do?

ビデオの最後に、「昔、私が熱を出しているとき、お母さんはねぎを首にまきました」と言いました。
これは「風邪をひいたら首にねぎをまくと良い」という昔からの言い伝えみたいな考えがあったからです。
ねぎに含まれる「アリシン」と言う成分が風邪やのどの痛みにいいと言われています。でも首にまくより食べる方がいいですね😉

At the end of the video, I mentioned, "Back in the day, when I had a fever, my mom used to wrap green onions around my neck." This is based on an old belief that putting green onions around your neck is beneficial when you have a cold. The component called "Allicin" in onions is said to be good for colds and throat pain. However, it's probably better to eat them than to wrap them around your neck. 😊
