The TT8 is one of Sole’s premier treadmill models designed for light commercial settings like hotel fitness rooms and office gyms. It is a non-folding machine which is preferred because it is fairly low maintenance and has the biggest track of all Sole treadmill models.
CushionFlex technology provides 40% more shock absorption compared to running on paved roads. It is the first Sole model to feature decline capability on top of the 15% power incline.
Features
Deck
This model has the largest track in the company’s treadmill lineup and most competing brands. The average treadmill track width is 20 inches. This model gives you an additional 2 inches which provides sufficient elbow room even for large-bodied users.
Other than size, the 4-layer deck gives users a more comfortable run and adds to the machines durability. 3-inch rollers help to ensure smooth belt movement
CushionFlex technology provides superior cushioning which is said to offer up 40% more shock absorption for joints compared to running outdoors.
Display
The display screen is another first in Sole’s treadmill lineup. This 10.1 inch screen is where all workout data is displayed and is what you use to enjoy any of the model’s 10 workout programs.
You also have the option to use a Bluetooth compatible mobile device to use the Sole Fitness mobile app. With this you can store data from any number of workout sessions and transfer the same to apps such MyFitnessPal and iHealth. You can even have the app running in the background and Netflix or another entertainment app in the foreground as you workout.
Incline and decline
This is the only Sole treadmill which incorporates power decline in addition to incline. You can burn more calories with 30 levels of incline running to a maximum of 15%. For decline simulation, it gives you up to 6%. Adjustment can be done using handlebar-based controls or console controls, both of which can be easily used when running.
All this is powered by a 4.0 CHP commercial grade motor which also supports a maximum speed of 12 miles per hour.
