Living in the metroplex in the 90s, my favorite station was Dallas' oldies station at that time, KLUV-FM (it has since moved on to a classic hits format). Growing up a decade earlier, one of my favorite radio TV promotions was the Remarkable Mouth concept, developed by Chuck Blore. KLUV, as far as I know, never ran the spot. I always wondered what it would've looked like if it did. Now I do.
Lifting aircheck snippets from the station thanks to material made available by Houston Radio Rewind, I was able to edit an audio track similar to the ones used on the original Remarkable Mouth ads. I then hired an actress to lip sync the audio, which she performed wonderfully, and edited the video to capture the essence of the original. With my tribute, I hope I did Mr. Blore proud.
