In the early 90s Andre Agassi was one of the most promising up and coming players on the ATP tour.
Known for his flashy shot making ability, long hair, denim shorts and the phrase "Image is Everything."
Agassi looked poised to take his notoriety to new heights when he reached the finals of the French Open in 1990.
His opponent, in his first grand slam final, was the 30 year old veteran from Ecuador, Andres Gomez.
Like Agassi, Gomez was also playing in his first grand slam final and despite being the clear underdog Gomez was able to pull off the upset and topple the young American in four sets.
