The Blessed Assurance hymn has really stood the test of time for real and it’s been the hymn I’ve bee singing over and over in my heart in this season. Love this fresh take of an old hymn by Elevation Worship

We all go through the journey of life, each writing his or her own story. But at the CORE of that story is a faithful Jesus that, just like this hymn, has stood the test of time. Over and over again, He blesses me with His grace, His love, mercy, despite my weaknesses, fears, self-doubts and failures. It reminds me that if there’s nothing else to be grateful for today, it is that He’s thought of me, seen my sins and failures, and yet still He chose to get on that cross for me. That’s why I trust Him and that’s why I choose to praise and worship Him today, no matter what life throw my way again.
