Is my ex pretending to be over me or are they genuinely over me for good? I know that if you're trying to learn how to get your ex back, this can be very confusing.

And it's unfortunate, but a lot of people's exes will intentionally try to make it seem like they are not impacted by a breakup.

This of course, is not reality.

But for whatever reason, we have decided to collectively play a game, generally speaking, after a breakup, where we try to come across as the person who cares the least.

In fact, it's almost like a competition with your ex to see who cares less.

And it's really quite childish, actually, especially when it's not based on how you actually feel or what is really happening for you in your emotional world.
