It was about two weeks ago, I began to find myself in this deep, deep place of confusion that I began to realize that actually I had sinned against God in this particular way. Can you imagine if all that I've seen in my my life of God, can you imagine how humbling and humiliating it is for me to have to still see that I have sin in me?

I'm only giving you this comparison so that you can see how serious God takes sin in our lives. It showed me that, after all the power I've seen, can be corrupt in my heart and mind and be blinded by Satan and be blinded by my own corruption. And I could end up in hell. How many of you are allowing loved ones to stand in the way of something?

God has asked you to do something. God has asked you to surrender something God has asked you to move forward on. How many of you are allowing flesh and blood people that you love and care so much about? To be ones that you love more than God, such that you have to reciprocate that teaching and make it look like from God's perspective that you love your family and you hate Jesus.

Satan is never going to allow you to easily move forward. God gives some people breakthrough opportunities to take a very big, risky choice for them. And then the birds of prey, Genesis 1511 descend. You can give up this and have a breakthrough in your life, in a breakthrough with grace and in your family, and see the blessing of God.

Because you made a good sacrifice. Presenting your bodies is a living sacrifice wholly unacceptable to the Lord. But Satan will come and say, Other people do that. Oh, that's fine. Here's a video that justifies it. No need to get rid of that. Don't be religious, don't be legalistic, don't make the sacrifice, don't consecrate, don't really go utter out for God.

It's just too radical. Don't hurt your family like this. Shrink back the point at which you stop with God. God starts with you brothers and sisters. The point at which you shrink back from moving forward. And what God has asked you to do is, is the point at which God shrinks back from you. My brothers and sisters in Christ this morning, I have had such a deep time of meditation on the scariest aspect of sin that affects all of us in our life Right now.

It's a terrifying reality and truth about sin that I want to share and have it be a warning to all of us. I want to give you a few stories and a few personal examples. And I just want to ask you, with all humility, before Jesus Christ, if you would be willing to join me in searching your own hearts before God, not before other people, not going to a YouTube video to find answers, not going and reading the good commentaries of good godly men.

But ask the Lord to examine your heart. Search me Oh God and test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me and lead me in the way everlasting create in me. Oh God. A pure heart. There is a way that seems right to man, but in the end it leads to death.

The heart of man is deceitfully wicked above all things, beyond all cure. Who can understand it? The word of God tells us all over the place that we apart form the enabling life and grace and truth and light of Jesus Christ are in a terrible state of depravity because of sin sin in us before we even know that it is in us, before we even know how to choose sin or exercise ourself in sin, we are corrupt.
