The MovNat certification course is a really special occasion. Participants spend months preparing and transforming the way they move, and it's a privilege to teach a group of people who come so prepared. It's not like I'm introducing them to new movements, and this frees us up to focus on refining deeper elements of their practice and approach to teaching others.
At this year's certification course in Toronto, we spent 5 days together working through the Level 1 and 2 curriculum, and one thing I love to see is how these strangers bond, grow closer, and open up over those few days. I get to watch and be a part of a community of people going through a once in a lifetime experience together.
People come from distant cities and provinces, meet others from their locale, and then return and start building their local community together.
It's not just about getting certified and overcoming the challenges. It's about becoming a part of the foundation of the MovNat community and turning yourself into a beacon for those around you who are also drawn to the Natural Movement lifestyle.
We are here to inspire people to develop their relationship with their bodies and, through their bodies, develop their relationship with the natural environment. We are here to introduce people to their primal nature and show them how to reclaim the birthright of freedom of movement.
