heute wurde ich Zeuge eines brutalen Übergriffs eines Mauswiesels auf eine Wanderratte. Zunächst hielt ich den "Kampf" der beiden Tiere für eine Paarung. Ich konnte nämlich aufgrund der Geschwindigkeit des Geschehens nicht genau sehen wer da genau mit wem... nun gut. Jedenfalls als ich ankam flitzten beide erst weg. Einer hatte gepiept und so piepte ich auch mal, in der Hoffnung die beiden vor die Linse zu bekommen. Hätte ich gewußt was da wirklich abgeht ... ich hätte das natürlich nicht gemacht. Aber... nun da es passiert ist und die Aufnahme existiert, warum nicht hochladen. Ist halt Natur, wie man so schön sagt.

today I witnessed a brutal fight between a least weasel and a brown rat. At first I thought the two were copulating as I couldn't figure out the who is who because everything was happening so fast. Whatever. Anyway, when I arrived they vanished into the grass. One of them had been squeaking, so I squeaked also a bit hoping they would come back to the road where I could film them. Would I have known what was really going on... I wouldn't have done that. But... now that it has happened and the recording exists, why shouldn't I upload it? that's natural as they say.
