International Relations Deputy Minister Luwellyn Landers has assured international election observers that South Africa does not have any no-go areas. He briefed the SADC Observer team yesterday on the country's safety and security. He described those incidents as pure criminal activities that won't have a bearing on the elections. To discuss this further we are joined in studio by Olufunto Akinduro Head Elections and Political Processes from the Electoral Institute for Sustainable Democracy in Africa.
