I bought a 2000 Silverado, the previous owner replaced knock sensors with generic sensors. I removed and replaced with ac Delco brand which is oem but the sensors stripped out and broke off I removed valley cover and hit sensor to remove with chisel. Make sure to cover your cam area and Also the intake ports. You will need to also replace valley gasket and 2 seals.
