INGREDIENTS
Bacon, Slices, Small Diced 1/2 cup
Zucchini, Small Diced 1 cup
Mushrooms, Fresh, White, Small Diced. 1 cup
Onion, Small Diced 1/2 cup
Celery, Small Diced 1/2 cup
Pepper, Bell, Small Diced 1/2 cup
Egg, Large 1 each
White Rice, Long Grain, Fully Cooked 4 cups
Soy Sauce 1 tablespoon
Salt 1/4 teaspoon
Pepper 1/8 teaspoon
INSTRUCTIONS
Gather your ingredients to make the Blackstone fried rice.
Dice all your vegetables and the bacon. Cut all into small pieces, so they cook quickly.
Preheat your Blackstone Flat Top Griddle to medium heat for 5 to 10 minutes. Apply a layer of oil to the griddle and spread around with a griddle spatula.
When the flat top griddle is hot, add the diced bacon to the griddle and cook until the bacon starts to crisp up. Cook about 5 minutes.
Next, add all the vegetables (zucchini, celery, onions, peppers and mushrooms) on-top of the bacon. Toss with the griddle spatula and use the bacon grease to help cook the vegetables.
As the bacon and vegetables are cooking, pick another spot on the griddle to scramble the egg. Make sure to oil the griddle, use your griddle spatula and cook the egg by itself until just done.
On the Blackstone griddle mix the bacon, vegetables, scrambled egg, rice, salt and pepper. Saute for a few minutes and continue to combine ingredients with your griddle spatula.
Sprinkle with a tablespoon of soy sauce over top of the rice mixture. Cook until desired doneness is achieved.
Test the Blackstone Griddle fried rice for flavor. If needed add more soy sauce, salt and pepper.
When desired flavor is achieved, remove from the flat top to a serving dish. Serve hot.
