Arslan Ash went head-to-head against Anakin at OTB IV in Tekken 7 and was eliminated from the tournament. This news sent shockwaves through the Tekken community. We're here to find out how it happened.
Only The Best IV – RB FATE Arslan Ash vs. RB Anakin
The world-famous player Arslan Ash found himself in the loser's bracket of OTB IV, a tournament held in Naples, Italy, and his opponent was none other than Anakin, his US rival. Both players have faced each other a number of times in the past, and Arslan would usually come out on top. However, it was during this fighting game tournament that Anakin would finally beat Arslan Ash and eliminate him from the tournament in 5th place.
This event is absolutely unprecedented and came as a titanic shock to everyone in the FGC. Since his explosion on the scene back in 2019, Arslan Ash has rarely ever been eliminated from a tournament before making at least Top 3. His monumental win at EVO Japan and EVO Las Vegas in 2019 put the Pakistan region on the map, ushering in brilliant new talent from an unknown scene. Tekken in Pakistan is considered to be at a very high level and for a time, players like Awais Honey, Bilal, and many others were known the world over. Now, in 2022, Pakistan is established as a solid region that has some of the best players in the world.
The Losers Quarterfinals of OTB IV brought these two titans together, with the result being that one of them will have to go home. To everyone's surprise, Arslan Ash was eliminated from a tournament in 5th place by Hoa "Anakin" Luu, one of the top Jack-7 players in the United States. In this video, we'll be talking about just how Anakin managed to best the Evo champion and prevail over him in some good ol' fashioned Tekken fisticuffs.
