A dingo hunting down two feral pigs in a remote part of the Northern Territory managed to capture its prey, as shown in rare footage released by the Australian Wildlife Conservancy in December 2016.
In aerial footage recorded in July 2016, the dingo strategically follows and eventually kills one of two feral pigs just outside the Pungalina-Seven Emu Wildlife Sanctuary.
A spokesman for the Conservancy stated it is believed to be the first footage of its kind and demonstrates the “ecological role” of the dingo in the wild.
