In this episode, Shawn Espinoza, owner of SE Shirts and Hoodies, tells us how he started his custom apparel shop and why he decided to purchase a Ricoma CHT2 Wide 8-head embroidery machine. Shawn first started out by creating custom hoodies with a vinyl cutter and a heat press. He then decided to expand into embroidery with an MT-1501. Shawn’s business quickly took off from there. He even fulfilled an order of 2,900 embroidered caps! This exponential growth and the machine’s ability to embroider the side of caps in one run made him purchase the CHT2 wide model. This 8-head machine has helped him keep up with new orders coming in.
When he first bought his MT-1501, Shawn was impressed with Ricoma’s customer service. He expressed that they were interested in his needs and finding the right machine for him rather than just selling a product. What made Shawn really want to stay with Ricoma is the phenomenal tech support that is difficult to find with other embroidery machine companies.
We hope you enjoyed hearing Shawn’s story! Comment down below to tell us what you think about his custom apparel journey or if you are interested in buying your own Ricoma embroidery machine!
