Hot Water Beach, Coromandel, New Zealand.
One of the most popular sights on the Coromandel Peninsula is Hot Water Beach. Within two hours either side of low tide you can dig your own hot pool in the sand. The hot water comes from natural hot springs underneath and can get as hot as 64 °C. It was a weird experience to sit in the warm water on the beach on this cool morning.
