iOS 10.3.1 vs iOS 10.2.1 on the iPhone 5 in 2017 - Which is faster?
Since iOS 10.3.1 could be the last firmware to be supported on the iPhone 5, I wanted to quickly compare it to iOS 10.2.1. I must say, I expected 10.3 to be a bit quicker since it "feels" quicker at certain times.
CORRECTION: APFS only supports 64-bit devices, so the iPhone 5 doesn't benefit from the new file system. Also, 10.3.2 beta has been released for the iPhone 5, so I'll be doing another test when it's released to the public.
I'd still highly recommend updating to 10.3.1 if you aren't interested in jailbreaking though.
